Nervous System Reset for Caregivers

A weekly, gentle reiki‑infused yoga class for unpaid carers, designed to soothe fatigue, calm the nervous system, and create a safe space to exhale. This class is especially for those caring for ageing, unwell or neurodivergent family members, who often put their own needs last. Each session blends gentle Hatha yoga, breathwork and guided relaxation, with hands‑off energetic practices inspired by Reiki to support emotional release and deep rest. Movements are simple, slow and accessible, with options for all bodies and energy levels, so you can participate whether you feel exhausted, stiff, or out of practice. Across the weeks, we will explore tools to: soften tension in shoulders, back and hips from long days of caring regulate overwhelm, anxiety and “always on” mind states reconnect with your own body, boundaries and inner steadiness This is a donation‑based, pay‑what‑you‑can class so that finances are never a barrier. No one is turned away for lack of funds; your presence matters more than your payment. Suitable for complete beginners and returning practitioners alike—just bring comfortable clothes, an open mind, and permission to do as much or as little as you need.
